I started making friends with the teeniest jumping spider living on my purslane. I also tried purslane for the first time, actually quite tasty! I only tried a leaf though because I want the seeds for next year and for my spider friend to keep his home

A wild purslane that popped up from the cheap soil I bought with a little black and white jumping spider bear the middle and my hand resting there so as not to scare them away. Spiders are awesome

My lab/bully mix has gotten multiple of them every year and we live in a pretty dense area. She does not go after cats or anything else either, very easy to train and crazy smart and sweet! Extremely big though but I think she's an outlier for size (105lbs).

May I introduce Big Turtle, who was sent for TNR just before Professor Fate and had since chosen to come inside with the other wild ones. He's adapting well i think 😂

Biggest Girl is currently pouting because her brother got an apple chunk and she didn't. She got like 10 of the tiny bones she likes because she doesn't like apples, not at all. Jealous 😂

Gonna add Roof Kitten to this thread but because he's opposite, he likes to open doors and has learned to use the dog door. He is not allowed outside. We're currently debating the rules. He's winning via screaming about it. This was the morning after he escaped and came back in by himself. Too smart

We're trying to introduce the inside and outside little guys so maybe the outside guys can be at least partially inside guys someday and this ancient little dude got smacked in the face so it's snuggle and treat time this morning.

An ancient yorkie is wrapped up in a spooky blanket on the couch looking vert alert and very cute. Minutes after this was taken the snoring began.

Behind on my "Why am I at this meeting please let me just go work" doodle uploads so here is January and February. Roof Kitten helped with February 🐈‍⬛️

January 2026 "a new year begins every day" is written at the top of the page. There are 2 windows, the one on the right has the pane separated and the window locks put on, the left is blank. There is an easel set up in front of the left window, to the right is what was supposed to be a storage self. There is not a single straight line or accurate proportion anywhere 🤣

A doodle for February: a half-melted snowman holding a heart shaped box of chocolate sits above "February 2026" 3 snowflakes are around them with some wrapped candies and more hearts. A scratchy doodle at the bottom of the page is outlined and was drawn by Roof Kitten (he batted the pencil around while I held it up). There are hearts and snowflakes scattered around the page and a "for rent - rented" sign towards the middle.

I've had a bunch of cats from old rescue toms to ferals and this is absolutely correct. 100% a skill issue. These are the 3 (plus 2 pups) we have currently and there's a feral colony outside we take care of (properly, tnr and all).

A big black and white lab/pitty mix is on the left part of the couch (brown) and to her right is a small very old yorkie, a slightly less old but no less wise tabby cat, and a larger grey cat. These are rescue dog, inheritance dog, original cat, and gym cat (because I found her at the gym as a kitten). I don't put my pets names online.

A black cat with yellow eyes helps me work at my desk, one arm is resting on my arm while i use the mouse and he sits in my lap. This is roof kitten because he was born in our roof. The feral colony outside are the siblings and we think momma we couldn't get yet.
