The news is awful, so here’s something good. This is me petting Athena, a TNR 5 month old who has been living on and around my porch with her siblings. She’s the 2nd of 4 to give into the head scritchens. I want to socialize all enough to be adopted.This is a months work and far to go. But happy.

I love my neighbors. I was out putting the chickens to bed and my dear neighbor called me over to brighten my day with this. 💜

#csa challenge year two. We had very very little waste last year. My challenge this year will be remembering to do something with the odd bits like radish tops. I splurged on sourdough and flowers this week too. Support local farms whenever you can!

Not only did I get a tariff bill for a book, when I disputed it with #FedEx, I got this response. Like... seriously. Pay the $20 or maybe get charged a lot more? There is no tariff on books and the stupid NEW tariff excludes books. The packing slip said BOOK. I'm so mad. #booksky #idiocracy
