Silverdog Taxdad as a Service
@graydoggo
You know, that middle-aged doggo from Catalonia. I am not a pro artist, just drawing for fun when I can! I speak English, Catalan and Spanish
I underestimated this. And I have been very fortunate to experience it in my land. It has left me speechless. Truly.
More fur meetings means more doodles, this time in paper 🐶 (There’s an attempt to draw @dpunchnsfw.bsky.social down there. It did not go well 😅)
Yesterday I went to a fur meeting in downtown Barcelona and I chilled there sketching with some other people. Used the time to practice with basic shapes and stuff 🐶 (The cavalier dog is a character from another person who asked me to make a quick sketch of him)
I'm not dead! Went trough some challenging months. At least I still remember how to grab the pencil.
My chest and belly have been hairless all my life. And now, just after my 41st birthday, chest hairs are appearing and my belly hair is extending without control. Do I really have to deal with this at my age? Nuts, I say. If you're younger and have no body hair don't lose hope, I guess!
Two weeks ago I did a trip to Italy. With the help of my friend @fudatsu.bsky.social I’ve been able to visit a few cities, including Bologna and Venice. It was cold, but that let me visit it with very few people around. It was great! I needed a change of scenery for a few days.
So I am in @fudatsu.bsky.social's place and he found intolerable that I didn't see Twin Peaks yet. He put me the show and I drew my impressions (He added some bit).
Some time ago I drew this portrait of a friend, based on a photo of him. Forgot to share it, so here you are, an evidence that I am still alive and drawing :P Now that Silksong is finished I should have more time to grab the pencil 🐶
Sometimes life mixes two entirely different universes. A company needed someone to teach how to use Procreate in iPads, and I was the only person to have experience in Apple devices and (very modest) drawing skills. I drew this as a lesson!
Age signals in my body are finally accelerating. White hairs are multiplying in my face each time I trim, my hands show more wrinkles, my eyes feel more tired and my back aches more after waking up.
I grabbed the tablet and hey, my brain remembers that thing called doodling, it seems
A friend has one of these Remarkable e-ink tablets and gave it a go. The pencil response is very good! Maybe it could work as a drafting device. Pics: irl thing + exported digital file result. I used the Mechanical Pencil Brush.
I got @crocchetta.bsky.social's book and it arrived home! Man, this is going to help me a lot when I need motivation to draw ^_^
I was sick of this Sonny Angel trend everyone is following, putting naked figurines in the phones. Then I heard those can cost up to €60, and I had the best business idea ever. I’m gonna be rich, guys
It's my Birthday today, and kind of an important one: I am now 40 years old! So I wanted to put here a realistic reflection of how this age is present in my looks: some gray hairs, wrinkles... I wrote a small journal post about it: www.furaffinity.net/journal/1103...
I wanted to show just a very typical day in my life so here I am, writing an article in my commute to downtown Barcelona. The other train passengers are some friends of mine and you might recognize them 😙
Some people told me: "why don't you rent the place you bought? You could earn a fortune". My answer gets some Baron Harkonnen vibes. People should not buy houses just for investing, especially in these crisis times. I just wanted a place to own and live in to escape rents, and that's what I got.
Here’s an Art Trade I did with @txartwolf.bsky.social . He just chilling with his Switch
And that’s it! The pandemic doodle special is done, and now I’ll go on doodling other things occasionally. Thanks for being there, friends! 🐶
The best thing it can happen when you go live in a new apartment building: chill and cool neighbors!
This small drawing is dedicated to all the people who told me I could never be able to buy an apartment on my own, alone, and being a freelance. Effort and sacrifice give results. ALWAYS.
I remember having a sense of pride, thinking about everyone in the world would get the vaccines. We were starting to defeat COVID! In a sense, at least.
If I was about to spend all the money I had saved up from all my effort, It would surely not be for a shitty place! Barcelona was too much for me and I had to look up farther in the metropolitan zone.
