Books, mountains, music, running, cycling (Rouvy bore), the usual. Clifton, Nottingham.
Politics, scheming, sci-fi, fantasy, time-travel, a sense of wonder, and enough plot to keep viewers engaged. Great characters and set pieces and diversity is built in so it would modernise very smoothly. Surely cost is the only problem.

I've got a hankering for a J L Carr map of Nottinghamshire or Yorkshire (homeland) for the wall but I'm not sure I will win the argument with my interior design expert (my wife). We already live in an old cottage and this might be too cottagey.

My parents were teachers and we did a lot of caravanning holidays when I was young. I've done a lot of walking and climbing trips. And I used to follow Doncaster Rovers, home and away for a couple of years.
