I've had a Wilson's Warbler in my yard for the past 3 days ... finally got a decent picture of it.
A pair of Downy Woodpeckers has set up housekeeping in the silver maple at the end of my alley. But a second male has decided he wants in on the action, making for some neighborhood drama...
Spent a little time out back with Sammy yesterday, and had a few Broad-winged Hawks, a bunch of swallows, and an Osprey go over.

They had several efforts going leading up to Jan 6. They tried rigging and bribing, and fake electors, and when that didn’t work, violence. They have purged or in other ways removed things that blocked them 4 years ago.

It's mind-boggling how much digital photography has changed things. I quite literally almost died getting pictures of this murre colony in Oregon in 1991, and at the time, it was considered a great shot (and published at least twice that I can remember).
I spent some time in the yard today hoping for some early hawk movement, but it was not to be, really. But, I did have a young Red-shouldered Hawk and an Osprey go over. Also, a female American Goldfinch landed in the Jo-Pye not 5 feet from where I was sitting.
