@grmnygrmny
formerly @bandcamp.com i design & build synths at subalpinecircuits.com i make music at grmnygrmny.bandcamp.com i like to walk the dog vancouver, bc
have been playing around with pixel-art-ifying film photos i've taken over the years which feels like it can capture some of the "subalpine" aspect in a way that is also a little fun but feels like it's trying less hard than like, a picture of a mountain as a triangle wave
i am not a designer but i really wanted to try to do as much of the brand/identity of my synth company as possible. i think i've landed on these typefaces which feels authentic to the aesthetic i've been thinking of. it feels like something i can execute on myself that is a little "fun"
playing around with some ideas for synth brand aesthetic and kinda like digitized film photo
technology has allowed us to create images we could previously only have dreamed of
heres the video that i put on there but you should also read the post as i think it's fun to read
looking great sirs, keep up the good work, love what you’re doing to the economy
mostly finished a very annoying job of reworking application state to support preset banks
