Alright I'm feeling a lot less weepy over this today so I took my specimens out for a better look and I'm not even sure what this is. Some kind of fulgorid...? My Real Entomologist coworker is going to show me how to mount it next week which is exciting

I think it is a male Dieunomia sp. I wonder what the flattened terminal antenna segments are for? I've seen that male Megachile sp. have them too #insect #bee #invertebrate
