Woolworths! I bought my first Venus Fly Trap there. It died. But I've made up for it since then.
Although laughable by modern reconstructions, the T. rex was not that far off at the time.
Most times I let them catch their own prey. I have a large colony of Sarracenia purpuria. Extremely cold hardy (Canadian seed stock). Sadly my little Drorsera died this year. I have about a dozen Venus Fly traps, which I take in for the winter.
Masterpiece. One of the few where the remake was watchable, even exhibiting its own charm. Off topic, but the remake features a rare amature telescope of "folded optic" design. Few of these pricy instruments were made. Someone in production must have owned one and used it as a prop.
Pick up this book. I have only read the first 1990 edition. What's remarkable is the span of research. Also noteworthy is the authors' contacted and interviewed a number of people who worked these films, who are now deceased.
I have a very old one where the Klingon war bird slowly 'de-clokes'. A gift from a friend.

Consistently in top 10 TZ episodes, and high up in non-genre lists. I've met folks who mistake it for Outer Limits. Some assume the original story was by Matheson, not Damon Knight. I recently found collection of his at a hospital book exchange and finally read the story. Far out!
