We feed colonies in industrial areas and an urban farm. Aldo behind a convalescent hospital. We are now retrofitting the feeders with gravity feeders inside do we don't have to feed every day.
You give me hope. I've had Mocha since she was 9 weeks old. Both her brothers socialized. She did not. I cannot touch her. I love her nonetheless and will wait until she's ready.
These kittens are beautiful. They were born in a mobile home park where Rachel has TNR’d/rescued almost 200 cats. The girls have a serious congenital deformity, atypical Pectus Excavatus, and Sally has a 5/6 murmur. We see the surgeon tomorrow. Visualize healthy kittens!
This is Mama and her daughter. They are almost identical. They live in a colony behind a closed fast food restaurant. Our volunteers care for them every day.
This is why we use an AirTag. We've got trap training started for this litter of 5 and another mama and a litter of 3. We had the vet's put an AirTag on this mama when she was TNR'd. When we we found her, we found the source of the cats in the neighborhood. Time to get to work!!
My weaning kittens just started suckling on each other. I guess we can be glad it’s just her belly!!
Oh no. Ringworm. My nemesis. This little girl with icky eyes was easy to get and immediately grateful. Her brother, however, not so much. These kittens were rescued by a chicken rescuer. When I said how brave she was grabbing him she said it was ignorance not bravery. 😂😂
Mama cannot get any peace with seven kittens. She’s such a sweet cat. ❤️🐾
This sweet family was pulled from our local shelter. Mama and 7 kittens are now safe with a foster. Happy Sunday!!
We helped a man who had over 100 friendly mostly indoor cats and 75 ferals His wife died and he sold his home. He asked for help and was turned away by our municipal shelter. It took us 6 months. They all went to other rescues and got homes. The ferals were TNR’d. There are not enough resources. 💔
Trapped this mama yesterday and she is being TNR’d today. Went back for these five hissy spitty babies. Had to clear a whole abandoned patio of weeds to find the nest. Off to foster they go. These are one of 5 litters we are watching in the field. TNR works!
This is Max and some of his kittens. He yearned for kittens and was so happy when he saw us coming with a carrier in hand. He was a foster mama to many.
Oh my gosh this orange cat!! Beau is thrilled that I’m sitting on the daybed so he can sit behind me. And put first one paw, then both, on my shoulders and purr.
We trapped this 6 month old kitten today for a spay/abort. It’s always a heart wrenching decision, but it is the only responsible choice. And a cat this young faces risks giving birth. Kittens go into heat as early as 4 months. Please s/n your pets and TNR any community cats you feed.❤️🐾
