I was in DC earlier this week and walked the mall. Close to where some workers were painting, someone had planted an American flag in the middle of the reflecting pool. Additionally, I took a picture of this reminder: our National Parks fees are going towards the cost of this. So nauseating.
I just called the Wizards to voice my *displeasure*. You can too. I asked them to pay the guy the $10,000 and pony up another $10,000 for the charity of his choice. Jerks.
Please please please consider adopting a pit-mix! They are the BEST doggos! Just ask our Gus!
We have a nine year old pitty named Gus, who looks so much like Melia. He needs to be in a one-dog home as well. We’ve had dogs for years, mostly Labs and two Goldens. Ngl we had some initial concerns about re/homing a pit as well as they get a bad wrap. We’ve had our guy three years now!
I could not love this post more. And I’m very sorry for the loss of your husband. My 96 yo mom moved in with us in March of 2020. She had been living in an AL community for one month prior. She lived with us until she passed 15 months later. We had some fun with our *friends* as well.
