Here's one for you. A French howitzer (I think) from the 1800s in Vung Tau, Vietnam. Part of a battery overlooking the entrance to the Saigon River for the defense of Saigon. It didn't help much... Taken over by new management in 1954 when the French lost Indochina, and again in 1975.
Arrest these terrorists immediately! Especially the dog! A photo of the reflecting pool in better times, before it became a crime to enjoy a public space.
To put the photo below into context, here is another photo. This other famous photo showed the brutality of an unjustifiable war in Vietnam, and contributed greatly to its ending.
The last two times I went to the Australian War Memorial, specifically to see G for George again, unfortunately both times the aircraft hall was under renovation and closed to the public. Luckily, I'd visited before, and will hopefully visit again. One of the world's great museums.

Just watching "Who is America?" with Sacha Baron Cohen. Never seen it before. Best laugh I've had in ages. I'm very surprised I didn't know this series existed. Some great moments with some seriously stupid people. Just a shame that they are now ruling America.

The Myanmar earthquake, as seen in Thailand. My friend in Vietnam told me she felt the earthquake even there. A tragic loss of life.

The "Crypto President" is absolutely wrecking crypto. There is absolutely no confidence in the US economy. The money is walking...

Trump is systematically disassembling any possible resistance to Russia. He is making the world weaker, and Russia stronger. Everything he does is just playing directly into Putin's hand. He's not just selling out America, he's selling out all of the democratic nations, in favor Russia.
