It's time to say farewell to our 22nd FESTIVAL OF FILM NOIR! But we're going out with a bang this weekend with modern noir - BRICK, the Rian Johnson/Joseph Gordon-Levitt high school detective flick, double featured with BOUND, A 30th Anniversary screening of the lesbian noir thriller!
Double feature #4 is a showcase of director Joseph Losey! THE LAWLESS is an Intriguing study of Mexican-American fruit-pickers championed by a a crusading newspaperman and STRANGER ON THE PROWL is a neorealist film noir set in Italy and directed by Losey while he was blacklisted by Hollywood!
Midweek double feature! For our third double feature of the FILM NOIR FEST, we've got NAKED ALIBI (1954) - the Gloria Grahame/Sterling Hayden cop killer thriller paired with THE DAMNED DON'T CRY (1950) - Joan Crawford in ambition overdrive!
