CUCO 🐢 went out for an expedition this weekend😱 On friday I was taking out the trash and left the yard door open for 2-3 hr. Saturday morning I went to feed Cuco and he was missing😱 my neighbor 2 houses across the street found him in his backyard, kept him safe and published a picture in whatsapp❤️
We are doing well, although I had a "mini heart attack" earlier today 😭 because Cuco the turtle was missing 😱 I searched everywhere and then I thought he might ve scaped. Sure enough, a neighbor had posted a picture of him in the neighborhood group chat asking if someone was missing a 🐢 🤣 oh my pig!
Güero pupdate: he got his stitches out (10 days post-op). Vet said everything looks good👌😍❤️ he's cleared for jumping and getting together with his brothers and sister🐶🐕🐶 we are very happy ❤️ thank you to all our amigos who sent healing vibes 😇

Güero pupdate: he couldn't handle the donut and our amiga @nayuleska.bsky.social suggested a recovery suit😉💖 and he's very comfortable now. The medication upset his stomach 🤢 but CBD helped with pain and nausea🤐 we ask for more healing vibes from our amigos💖 🐶
I know! He hold it so much time!! Poor baby. But he's almost too active without the cone... The vet said no getting on the couch, no jumping, and that's exactly what he did after reliving himself🤭 now he's on his pen with the donut to see if he likes it better. If looks could kill👀
Güero pupdate: he spent the night very quiet, almost no movement. He's very anxious with the cone of healing, now we're trying the recovery donut🍩 he's eating ok, doesn't like to take his pills 😅 even if I put them in sausage he spits them🤭 will try other methods. I fear he's plotting revenge😳
Hola Barry! Güero is doing fine, I got his cone of healing off for a bit and he sprung out of bed and went right to the bathroom 🚽🤣 he was holding it because he doesn't feel comfortable walking with the cone 😕 it was a challenge giving him all his pills😂 he's eating wet food only
Güero pupdate: surgery went well, his spleen was super large!! He must feel everything moving inside and thats ruff but he's in good spirits, came out walking from the kennel❤️😉 isn't thrilled about the cone of healing💫 will be resting in a smol space very supervised 🔎 muchas gracias amigos💕love you

Today we ask for your good vibes for Güero 🐶. He's having his spleen removed today and is a risky surgery 😮💨 we prepped him as well as we could and now he's in the hands of a very good surgeon vet🙏 I'm in "anxiety mode" 😅
