Exact reason why I thought Splatoon Raiders would be a net benefit to the overall community.
5,256 soft resets. Favorite legendary of all time as a shiny with OT/Name: Silver and from the Johto region. Used rubber bands to wrap around L and R button so I could just hit start & select to make it easier to reset.
Shiny Duck Totodile - SoulSilver - 19 Quaxly - Violet - 228 Pending Squirtle - FireRed Mudkip - Sapphire Piplup - Diamond Oshawott - Black or Black 2 Froakie - X Popplio - Ultra Moon Sobble - Shield
6,732 resets. I think after having 200 resets for Cyndaquil and 19 resets for Totodile, this was very fair to happen.
I wanted a false swiper to start my shiny hunt for Lapras in Soul Silver. I did not expect this.
Jynx, you owe me a soda! Likely my last shiny on Pokemon Shield for a while. I am going to start a new file on Pokemon Sword to hunt for Lugia and Ho-Ho since they were two legendaries I caught normally in Shield DAs.
The Blood Moon rises…. (On and off hunt for the last 2ish months. Over 100 DAs but less than 200 DAs.) Unsure who to target next.
OH MY GOD!!! Fun fact: Ledyba was my first ever shiny in Pokemon Silver. I didn’t know what shiny Pokemon were at the time.

I got a bunch of squirrels from Pokemon Z-A but I wanted one where it was caught in the Kanto region. Finally got my favorite Kanto starter!
This is how many successful DAs I needed to catch each: Tapu Fini - 151 Tapu Lele - 43 Tapu Koko - 1 Tapu Bulu - 193
Still shiny hunting Tapu Bulu…I got really lucky on the other Tapus tbh. At 184+ and counting. I did get a shiny Whimsicott. I was starting to go insane thinking my shiny charm was broken.
