Like the liquid form of feeling October in the air while still in the thick of summer, LagerTown is back and tastier than ever. Crimson glimmers in clean copper lager, with big biscuity malt under khaki foam. Classic Oktoberfest flavor in the mug, ripe and ready for the LagerTown Faire this year.

Alongside our Piece collab, a pilot-system beer makes its taproom debut this week. Proenneke (pren-uh-key) is draft-only West Coast IPA pouring today. Orange marmalade, pine sap, resin and warm baked-pretzel malt, with one worn boot in the mid-2000s and one in now. 7% ABV, draft only while it lasts.

Brewed with Piece's House Ale strain, Soft Stars Hard Thunder is a tasty pale ale dry hopped twice. First with Crystal and Zumo, then Cashmere, Krush Cryo and Idaho 7. Just a snappy pale ale packed with flavor and buckets of aroma. Tough to beat.

Our summertime Tofu Sandwich starts with tofu marinated in Crystal Hot Sauce, dill, garlic and onion, then grilled and packed into a ciabatta bun with pickles, cool coleslaw and a generous swipe of red pepper spread. Served with fries, vegan as-is and available now.

Patio is closed again today, but swing by the taproom for a cold one. The beer garden will reopen when the air quality has improved.

It was a great day, and everyone seemed happier than a Jeep Wrangler owner with dozens of rubber ducks on the dash! Seriously, though, what's going on with the ducks?
