583 - Blazing Saddles Perhaps more famous now for it's controversy ("You couldn't make it nowadays!) than it's own merits. It's still good if a little ramshackle, since the films it's parodying are long forgotten. Annoying that so many people miss the point, but that's inevitable 💿📽️👍 #1001Movies
582 - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre "Aaaaahh! Aaahh! Aaaahh! Zzzzzz Zzzzzz ZZZZZZZZ Rhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" - last 20 minutes Very efficient with it's kills, almost no filler and gave us a lot of the tropes we take for granted nowadays. I think half of their $140,000 budget went on gasoline 👍 #1001Movies
581 - Young Frankenstein Unlike many of Brooks' other works this one seems more focused on telling a coherent story with the occasional joke, rather than stringing together funny scenes with a vague plot. And that makes it quite refreshing. Very watchable. Wilder & Feldman are great 🌟 #1001Movies

579 - Chinatown Not what I expected - Chinatown isn't the location the story takes place in, rather it's something in the past of most of the characters, casting a shadow over their current actions. Scarily believable, especially in the modern climate. Nicholson a good guy? Yes. 🌟💿 #1001Movies

576 - The Godfather Part II Preferred the first one, sorry. Don't get me wrong, it's great, but I think the flashbacks should have been their own film. Every time you get into the story, you have to wait 20 minutes while the other one is told for a bit, then it comes back. 💿👍 #1001Movies
