International Monarch Monitoring Blitz 🦋 From July 31 to August 9, 2026 you can snap pictures of milkweed plants and monarch butterflies in any life stage - egg, caterpillar, chrysalis or adult - and upload your observations to iNaturalist. #MonarchBlitz

Falcon Update 🚀 All four chicks - Vincent, Saltfleet, Dalewood, Corktown - have successfully fledged this year! Thank you to all the volunteers who watched over the chicks as they learned to fly and most importantly were able to respond when two needed a helping hand.

If you build it, they will come! 🐸 The wetland at our Sheelah Dunn Dooley Nature Sanctuary was installed in Fall 2024 and the amphibians quickly moved in the following spring. This week Green Frogs were calling and a number of different swallow species hunted insects over the open water.
