I work too much and read a lot.
Today we went to Basilica di San Marco and the bell tower (Campanile di San Marco).
The next time someone tells me Italians don’t put pineapple on pizza, I shall show them this. 🥰
Then we had an overpriced Bellini at Harry’s Bar, some dinner, and are watching sunset on the terrace at our hotel.
I slept in this morning because I could not fall asleep for some reason. I was still awake at 3 am. Anyway, we went to Murano and explored and bought some glass. Also walked around Venice.
Also walked through Parque de Retiro which is a very nice park. Unfortunately the Palacio de Cristal is being renovated so it was all walled up.
Prior to the celebration coverage, I went to the Palacio Real de Madrid. I have 30 photos of cool ceilings but here are four cool things, with only one ceiling.
Walked around Madrid and got some breakfast this morning. Waiting on my nephew to explore some more this afternoon.
