I went to the Meadows Festival and got zero photos, but I did go to the new toilet block and was delighted to see this. An important reminder that disabled people can be parents and caregivers too.

People who use BSL: there's no usual sign for "crutch" but what do we think about using the "help" sign against the inner corner of the forearm and elbow? This was recommended to me by someone who asked other signers and I quite like it. Idea being you move your thumb back and forth twice.

Any idea what the penultimate word might be? This is an RAF Navigator's diary from 1941. I cannot show more handwriting examples just now but I cannot work out what this place is. Begins with G and ends with -den? I've been Googling and looking at coastal maps of West Europe but nothing.
