Asexual. They/them. Lazy slacker.
I watched Obsession on Friday. This image was funny and also terrifying at the same time.
Unfortunately Oscar was a carrier of Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). I have two indoor cats so I couldn't risk their health by keeping him inside and couldn't release him back outside because he would keep spreading it. I had him put to sleep. Fucking heartbreaking. I'm so sorry Oscar.
It took longer than I thought, but Oscar is inside. He is very calm about being inside despite being afraid of the ceiling at first. I don't think he's ever been indoors before. Already have a vet appointment set up for neutering and vaccines.
I took this a few weeks ago. Green trees against the blue sky will always be beautiful.
Things are going well with Oscar. He's been showing up with the calico, I think she is his mama cat. She still won't come anywhere near me. I make a big show of petting and scratching Oscar while she's watching. Another week or two working with Oscar and I'll get him to the vet.
These pictures are from yesterday. Made tremendous progress with him. Will be setting up a vet appointment for neutering (sorry buddy, gots to be done), vaccines and an ID microchip. He will be staying inside to live the good life.
I've been trying to befriend this cat for about a year. I think he's the sibling of Lucky, they started showing up around the same time. Today he finally let me pet him and scratch his ears! He's unneutered and his feet are filthy. He's very quiet when he meows.
He sleeps in the oddest positions. He's all scrunched up in the corner of the chair.
