This kinda gives you only the low frequency changes in shape but keeps the smaller details from the original mesh, which tends to mess up UVs & weight painting much less. I usually make two big shapekeys for bigger & smaller body shapes, then mask off parts of the body w/ vgroups, normalize them..
I think you could do the muscles by baking alternative sculpts, shrinkwrapping retopo the sculpts & saving the shrinkwraps as shapekeys and baking the normals of each sculpt separately, then blending in a shader. You can also fudge a lot of silhouette stuff with CorrectiveSmooth with these settings
Hare-ifying the rabbet The space between rabbit and hare is continuous and multidimensional (I think I can make this a slider in VRChat)
Working on a retexture of the PearWizard by TeaKo. I intend on releasing this as thing you can get. Still very WIP
Also I got the pouch working and I put a tool anchor in there so I can actually store stuff in there! Gonna need to figure out if there's a way to disable or hide the objects in there when it's closed though. I had a mug of beer sticking out of my butt at some point. #resonite
The heatwave's got me stuck doing things that don't require me to be in my poorly air conditioned bedroom with a PC dumping an extra 400W of heat into it. So I ported the plushbot roo to Resonite :>
Some of these questions are hard to answer without a time frame or I would select multiple options, but it's also making me realize I have a lot of conflicting ideas about the situation...
I keep saying I want to add a OLED screen shader to this avatar and keep putting off posting more about it until I set that up. IDK why I'm doing that tho. but these photos came out funny because the sunlight brightness is very bright, and so his eyes are dark because they're just screens!
Starting in the 3rd paragraph of the article and again in the 2nd paragraph of the Content Gating section.
Blender's been shoving multiple wires into the output slot of all my old files ???
The dev kit for context: Photo from UploadVR They don't look as cool as HoloLens or Magic Leap, but they definitely look less silly than the retail version.
god... we gotta stop normalizing this pipe to curl thing.... this is the Linux equivalent of doing the "Win+R, Ctrl+V, Enter" you see on fishing sits trying to get you to run a key grabber.
I'm making poor time management decisions, but I am also having fun. #furryart #vrchat #blender3d
Ooh, I made an avatar of my cyboarg boar character a few years ago (right) and also made a sculpt of a big boar dude some what recently (left), but idk if I'm gonna do anything with it.
Thanks! Glad to know I'm on the right track! It's got a bit of a dip, but it's not too aggressive. I plan on adding a slider for a bigger, more hare shaped muzzle with a higher nose bridge though.
Oh, I'm working on a rabbit base! And I wouldn't mind some feedback on it! vrchat.com/home/avatar/... I think I kinda ended up in cat territory by making the eyes so human shaped though, so it might not be what you seek
Also consider adding a butt bone! You make a bone that''s weighted to most the butt, the back of the thigh, and around the top of the thigh but not where the pelvis meets skin. Then, you put parent constraint on it set to only 50% or less strength, and you keep a lot more volume when legs bend.
Your thigh bone is too high and close to the center. The root of the bone should be near where the top of a real femur sits in a human. VRChat also kinda gets increasingly pissy the farther your bones chains are from being perfectly flat horizontally.
