Mario and I will be checking out LLFF's RAygun Queer Prom Rewind tonight at Centennial Hall first then probably going to the Well nightclub after. The Well has proper ventilation system so is smoke-free which is good now some of the wildfire smoke is back in the air. Happy Pride everyone!
I just discovered there's a hepa filter in my 2014 Subaru's air conditioner. Guess I'd better change it after 12 years! A real lesbian would have known that!
Mario and I are looking forward to the sunny rooftop patio T-Party at the Well this afternoon starting at 14:00h. Might stay for the sunset karaoke or wander over to Sunfest at Victoria Park after. Hope to see a bunch of you all out there.

Last night I enjoyed a production of The Drowsy Chaperone at the Ingersol Theatre of Performing Arts. @queeraoke.ca regulars Roderick Spence, David Cuellar, Magdalen Timperley & James Callaghan were among the terrific 23 strong cast! The ruccus romp of a musical satire had us in stitches.
In preparation for our new heat pump I stuccoed the service alcove. Best not have any flamable siding near a compressor! I also plan to house the compressor in a cage to avoid tresspessers from tampering with it. My stucco job is amateur but practical. I'm spraying it to keep it wet as it cures
We are particularly proud of our clematis garden project which is finally getting more established. The goal is to fill in the top 4 feet with the flowering vine. Certainly a glow-up for the aluminum siding in that corner! ❤️ gardening tips & pretty plants? Follow Dave Allan @boddave.bsky.social

We just got home from the $5 Tuesday screening of Devil Wears Prada II. I wore my Willma Flintstone original pearls, gift from KellyO. Kept those eyebrows though, didn't I? That's all.
Heading to QUEERAOKE🌈 @queeraoke.ca this evening at 18:00h for some R&B theme soul goodness and to Imagine Cinema at the Citi-Plaza failed mall tomorrow at 19:00h to dress for the Devil Wears Prada 2! Everybody smash up your seats and go out with your friends this week.

We're making good progress on the roof repair over our dining room today. Thanks to Serge of New Era Slate & Copper for his excellent work. I'm just helping.
The framers finally came today and fixed our roof framing and decking over the dining room after the freak attic fire. Now I can move forward with all the other rennos.
