Got to hang out again with two of the most amazing artists from the monster book. @ziqqix.bsky.social @christinese.kim
mostly done, but still tweaking. an update from the gifted John Muller.
opposing forces. imagine if they were both 100' tall, about to have the final battle between evil and good.
The talented Łukasz Pazera has done a few illustrations for my #DnD monster book. He was so kind to send me one of the originals.
Thinking about doing a commentary playthrough of #Dishonored with @rafcolantonio.bsky.social. He has not played much since we released the game!
Got a new book, by a friend in games academia. Immediately floored by the inside quote.
i have the same experience telling people about the old cassette plug-in for the atari 2600. a friend had it, but i guess it was rare. starpath!
Somehow still trying to decide whether to fly out for #GDC26. Been in video games since '93, yet perpetually excited about the ones that excite me and the people who make them. Normally I sleep very well, but I am coasting on 4.5 hours today. Missing my friends. #WhatAGameDevLooksLike
all eyes are on the horrible attacks on our society & democracy - pepper sprayed little girls, beaten workers, people murdered in the streets - which is as it should be. but the destruction of country at the hands of this regime is hitting SO MANY different areas at once. med, sci, edu, enviro, etc.
I'm home from Mexico City, an incredible place. Photos for anyone interested: www.instagram.com/harvey1966/
What other response to this dark timeline but a really talented (downtempo? death core?) band riffing on Charlotte Sometimes. #Traitrs
I think #Dishonored 2 was released on this day, 9 years ago. Much love to Raf and my teammates in Lyon.
No, you clown, it did not 'traumatize a generation'. We loved it because it was a powerful story that did not hand-hold or lie, before the age of Bowdlerizing fairy tales and everything else.
RIP to Michael Madsen, among his many great roles, the voice of Daud in #Dishonored. 💔
The writer, Kofman, just gives a masterclass in how people like this are flawed. (We all spend our lives trying to avoid hanging out with people who act like Yarvin.) Wow!
I am done editing the D&D monster book at last. The name is set (still a secret). Working with an old friend on the cover. And sneaking in two last creatures, one of which is a type of witch, the other is the Nagaleth.
