It takes a real man to stay a boy forever. Wargamer, TTRPGs, Arsenal supporter. Haven’t done myself any favours, have I? Economic immigrant to Belgium.
My MIL’s flats have a cool feature where this little light over the lifts is turned on once the postman comes. This was very good because it meant these two little games arrived. They are tiny. Very good production values as well.
Bought my 4 month old grandson his first pair of chopsticks. Too soon? Read the little blurb for a laugh.
I forgot my EU to US plug adapter for my work laptop so I ordered one from the bad place. It came with a very helpful instruction sheet. I’d be lost without it.
Found a great Korean supermarket about 30 minutes away from my MIL’s place. Had some fried chicken for lunch and scored some silgochu and gosari, which I’ve been unable to source in Belgium.
No shit. We’re Champions, pay them what they want and move on. We have to accept we will pay over the odds for every target now. Still have to change this mentality in the club. We are rolling in cash, spend it.
My wife went to Paris with a friend to do some shopping yesterday. So, today I get to have a jambon beurré with cornichons for lunch, followed by a coffee with Laduree macarons.
Does past you order stuff and then it shows up and present you says “what the fuck is this”, but it looks cool so you can’t be angry at past you and present you just nods in approval?
Saw Operation Mincemeat last night. Really enjoyed it and has a great cast.
My wife has requested that the Hugo Spritz is her cocktail for the summer.
Disappointed in the result, but not the players. I love this squad. We go again.
Received my copy of the Veiled God for Barbarians of Lemuria from Ludospherik. As with all their stuff, it’s absolutely beautiful.
Mostly a good final day of the season. Satisfying to see City and Chelsea both lose, but tempered by Spurs surviving the drop.
Settled in to celebrate. This day could only get better if Spurs go down (unlikely I know, but a boy can dream).
In case you’re wondering, “lower value human capital” are flesh and blood human beings.
Yes! Champions! This one is for my mate Colin who passed away in March. He would have been absolutely made up by this. Thank you Bournemouth, well played.
I've been playing a lot of Windrose the past few weeks and really enjoying it. Absolutely beautiful PVE game and it's great hearing your crew sing some shanties as you sail the seas exploring new islands to plunder.
First post Brexit passport. Sad fucking times. Desperately sad fucking times.
The first game in the Gamer’s Tactical Combat Series (bought when it came out in 1989) and the last game of the TCS series.
I don’t think there’s any gloss or spin that can be put on this result. We never looked like we could win. Players are just knackered.
