Hoping my grave goods really mess with some future archaeologists.
I went to Sellwood Park for the first time this evening and my God, what a gorgeous place!
The world is on fire and terrible, but we bought a gorgeous new mug today (by local artist Theresa Arrison) and it's true what they say, art really does feed the soul! We gotta continue to fight for a better world so more people can make and enjoy art!
What in the AI is going on in this picture on the Michael's website? I guess they aren't kidding about these kits being incraftable.
Okay, the rest of my walk was fine. It's a beautiful day, there were so many birds happily chirping away, and I came across these happy little fellows.
I used the wrong size safety eyes on my crochet Gonzo and the process of removing the eyeballs to replace them is genuinely horrifying. I bet this never happens to Dr Glaucomflecken.
Even though I have 20+ years of knitting experience, I'm new to crochet. I don't know if the pattern was missing information about which side of the round to put the eyes on or if it's commonly understood that it should always be opposite the start of the round. In any case, this is clearly wrong.
More crochet as anxiety management! So thankful my kid loves amigurumi - it's double the anxiety management when you can also give the thing you made as a gift.
What I like about crochet as an anxiety management strategy is that it works AND you end up with a blanket or a cute li'l guy.
I'm sure I'm not the first sewist to come up with this, but dominos make excellent pattern / fabric weights. They're really saving my butt flat lining chiffon for a Halloween costume.
My brain misfired and thought your post was related to this screen grab from Iron Chef, like "surely not Iron Chef Chen!"
She sleeps on my foot so that she can complain when I change position on the couch. And she's hoping I forget she's there so she can scream at me indignantly when I get up. And yet I love her.
Is there nothing to help me wrangle these irksome goals? Thank god, this frozen elixir will give me the power I seek!
1. That's not how acronyms work. 2. Using what looks like SpongeBob font for a mental health article is a bad look. 3. And I cannot emphasize this enough: that's not how acronyms work.
