WHEN GODS CRY WAR...

I'm cheating the system a bit. Everyone knows Watchmen or V for Vendetta, but for my money (I've bought the Alan Moore run litetally four times) this is the real first era Alan Moore masterpiece. His run on this is violent, transgressive, deconstructive, and revolutionary. I cannot suggest this highly enough. A trjy foundational work for me. Regrettably, the only easily available edition is the recolored ones where Alan had his name removed from the project, but it's absolutely worth your time to read it. Absolutely incredible book.
