3/4 After the Second World War, many of our leaders worked to create the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It set out 30 articles. It was a milestone declaration, adopted by the United Nations. The first article reads, “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.”
2/4 This internationally recognised annual benchmarking tool scores 49 European countries on legal and policy protections for LGBTI people. Our country needs a fairer society, one where people are treated equally, not as political pawns.
1/4 Too many lives in the LGBTQ+ community have been blighted by discrimination and hatred. The latest report from ILGA-Europe's Rainbow Map and Index shows that the UK has fallen from 1st to 22nd place. #IDAHOBIT2026
