This same growth was true for 2017 as well... I think the thing that holds most beginners back is not pushing themselves out of their comfort zones. Never experimenting with style, composition, and referencing. I'm proud of myself for my growth =^w^= (January, March, August, November)
Really, I could pick any four months and I could find myself pushing my skills. (April, July, October, November)
Every time I look at art from 2016 I'm reminded of just how much I was experimenting and pushing myself that year. I feel like it was my biggest jump in art skill ever. (March, May, June, December)
