It may be quiet here way way up the sides of Lake District hills & mountains, but the fishes in this lake up Easedale Tarn are not ✨ Chatty, sweet curious little souls

We hiked to the tops of Easedale Tarn, above Grasmere. Laid on the rocks, chatted with tiny fishies who claimed that people DO swim in the waters but it's cool - no one has harmed them. On the way down spouse says, fish aren't lying, my mates & others have swum there. Cold AF but yeah, people do.

New neighbour is all about 100 million cuddles to one bite ratio. The endless demands for endless snuggles should probably have been a clue. (We're still friends).
