I met my new niece today! She was born Friday & both she & mom are well & healthy!
Triton is really pushing his boundaries lately. That face says ‘yeah? What of it?’
Like, this would be me overthinking for sure. ‘Oh, this is a classic miscommunication trope!’ ‘Never trust the crown prince!’ ‘This Duke is cold & calculating, I bet he’s a soft teddy bear under all his trauma.’

New gardener started today. I don’t recall hiring them but they just showed up anyway.
I would love to know what breed is mixed in Seb’s DNA that gave him his ridiculous undercoat. No matter how often I brush him, he sheds SO MUCH.
When I work from my sofa, I prop my laptop on a pillow. Triton has now taken to claiming that pillow to nap on - even pushing my laptop off - in a clear bid for ‘pay attention only to ME.’ 😸

All I want is three weeks of sunny weather with temps from 60-75, instead of whatever the fuck this is. These 40 degree temp swings are killing me.

But I laugh every time the artist includes a famous artwork in the background that has such specific historical context in a world where none of that exists. Although in the below, I’m pretty including Napoleon Crossing the Alps is a tongue in cheek reference.
