Londoner busy trying to create streets for people, build a big sewer, get more Lib Dems elected, and rekindle things with Europe. Would like to be on a bike. She/her Profile pic: me in a bike helmet and sunglasses in front of a field of yellow wildflowers
Wow imagine supporting someone using the Church as a vehicle for political activism
You’re right of course, how could we be so disrespectful of people’s need for peace while checking their investment portfolio with a nice cup of wildcrafted botanical infusion 🔔
I’m not suggesting we change marriage law to allow housemates to get married. I’m talking about policies like HMO laws in the U.K. which make it harder and more expensive to let houses to groups of people on the basis they’re (supposedly) not families
These were very standard in Brussels when I lived there and no one batted an eyelid. Moved back to the UK and by complete coincidence landed in this bit of Brixton which also used one way streets and contraflows to create a de facto LTN well before it was trendy. Again it worked absolutely fine
Music, dancing, trees, sport…the future of high streets must be fewer cars and more of this ❤️
50 years since the only referendum the UK’s had on European integration that was informed by an honest debate!
Walworth LTNs making it easier and safer for construction workers to get to site by bike, bravo @lb-southwark.bsky.social @jamesmcash.bsky.social
Yeah when this is the official police line, it seems an odd omission from the article
Northbound vehicles have their own bollards at the other end of the bridge
Loving everyone’s mundane pics. Here’s my coffee stop on the way to the office.
Unfortunately now you’ve blocked them the rest of us can’t see who it is either!
Here’s me cycling along it last year, before they put the sewage in 😀
