I've been just reading & processing all of the beautiful tributes posted to Denise Oliver-Velez. They all send me back to just a basic thought: The daughter of a Tuskegee Airman & a dynamic educator grabbed the baton, and she ran with it. She ran with it all the way. I'm so grateful for that.
