I used to do her workouts, and sometimes add in stuff I learned, but saying buzz words like intention, soma & body trust, while trying to sell weighted stones for children for that amount, AND you train famous, rich women is just... not cool.

Do not ever forget Stephanie Salter, sports writing pioneer. In 1973 she was kicked out of the Baseball Writers Association dinner because women weren't permitted. She later became a member, and had a decades long career. She died of cancer last week. www.nytimes.com/1973/01/29/a...

@nrarmour.bsky.social Nancy, this is not an accurate picture of sports media for women, particularly Black and brown women. If we're going to talk about the industry, we have to address the culture that men with all the power have cultivated for decades. And women remain extremely underrepresented.

Do men not know women in sports media have been dealing with sexist, misogynistic accusations for literal decades? Oh but NOW it'll get worse lol. The reason is that most men who love sports don't pay any fu**ing attention to women's experiences in the industry until there IS a "sex scandal."
