For comedian Jon Harvey, who plays Count Binface, I only have his month of birth: May 1980. Late May would give him a Gemini Sun, which Uranus would be transiting. May 21st would give him a Leo Moon, thus being impacted by the eclipse also. But unfortunately this is just idle speculation. 😂

Farage had a comfortable majority and still polls at ~70% locally, although if Binface wins a projected 20% this could still be embarrassing for him. He is having an interesting time: a solar eclipse taking place in his 12th House; Saturn on his Sun; Neptune on his Mars; and Uranus on his MC.

I love this passage, from the introduction of Kastrup's Decoding Jung’s Metaphysics - and it resonates powerfully with the fact that birth charts still appear to function, sometimes long after death

As we shall soon find out, for Jung life and world are something very different from what our present mainstream metaphysics - materialism - posits. The conclusions his lifelong studies point to the continuation of psychic life beyond bodily death, a much more intimate and direct relationship between matter and psyche than most would dare magine today, and a living universe pregnant with symbolic meaning. For him life is, quite literally, a kind of dream, and interpretable as such.

OK I got curious - wasn't ready for how dark these are, and thought Taurus Venus would be nicer somehow! But I'll be honest, I really like the deep grey of my rising sign.

It's my birthday, so I thought I'd share my Solar Return (yesterday). I have probably been a bit quiet this past year - I sure will not miss last year's Rx Mercury in Pisces conjunct Saturn and Rx Venus!! I also wanted to share the cover of some stunning alchemical cards my wife gave me. 🥰

The Friend went on to command a lot of influence, preaching a progressive message (for the time) in Quaker communities and beyond. Today happens to be both their Lunar and Jupiter returns - AND their Progressed Moon is also almost exactly conjunct the Natal and transiting Moon. All ~26-27° Virgo.

I found out today, because of Trans Day of Visibility, of the fascinating life of the Public Universal Friend. The Friend (as they were often simply known) had a mystical Near Death Experience, after which they adopted the new name and rejected all gender, including he/she pronouns.

Birth chart of the Public Universal Friend, born 29th November 1752 in Rhode Island. The Sun, Pluto, Chiron, Mercury and Saturn are in Sagittarius. Mars is in Scorpio conjunct the North Node, Uranus is in Aquarius, Venus in Capricorn. The Moon is in Virgo, exactly conjunct the transiting Moon when I cast the chart. Jupiter is in Cancer, conjunct transiting Jupiter.

I love this passage from James Hollis so I put it in a frame. It's not technically poetry but it feels that way to me... currently having transits to both my 4H (Saturn and Neptune heading for 3 ♈︎ personal planets) and another outer heading for my IC... Sharing in case it resonates with you too ✨️

I would honestly have read this as satirical in many other contexts, but surely it would be too spiteful to give an author a one-star review for that purpose. Crazy to think that there could be real people who actually carry this vision of world order in their heads, even now.

Reading a lot of James Hollis books atm, and finding it difficult not to have a date of birth for him. My hunch is maybe Jupiter in Pisces from 1938...? something about his emphasis on meaning suggests a dignified Jupiter but would love to see his chart

Travelling north in Scotland over the Equinox, I'm seeing an increasingly rich tapestry of colours. And have been fortunate to have the Sun with me to bring it out! This is called a lochan (a small loch or lake) and it's located along the West Highland Way.

Stede Bonnet, known as the 'gentleman pirate', famously had an entire library built into the pirate ship he commissioned as part of his epic mid-life crisis in 1717. I don't have a birth time, but 12pm gives him a partile Moon-Mercury conjunction in Virgo, opposed by Neptune in Pisces. 1/7

Untimed birth chart of Stede Bonnet, 29th July 1688, Bridgetown Barbados. He has a partile Moon-Mercury conjunction at 4° Virgo (orb of 4°). It's opposed by a 5° orb by Neptune in Pisces. He has Sun and Mars in Leo, a Venus-Pluto conjunction in Cancer, Uranus-Chiron in Taurus, Saturn in Libra and Jupiter in Capricorn. The North Node is in Aries.

Text reads: Bonnet had inherited the family plantation in Barbados and received a liberal education. He was, then, in the words of his trial judge, "generally esteemed a Man of Letters" (Cordingly, 18) and firmly set up as a gentleman. Bonnet seems to have suffered a midlife crisis when he decided his respectable life had no value and he wanted adventure.
