Let's all try to make this place less embarrassing than twitter, yeah? Big on games and manga. Read Black Clover.
-Bike has a flat -Take it to shop to get it fixed, 50 bucks -Okay, at least it's done -two days later the other tire is flat
It'll never happen cause it had a kinda mixed reception and apparently not great sales but I'd love to see Super Mario Sunshine 2 someday. Super Mario Sunshine for all its weird nonsense, has this super unique movement system that I don't think any game has quite nailed.
Marriagetoxin Season 1 Really charming show with a some banger character designs. Moves at a good pace, and has some oddness to it to keep it fresh. Brittney Karbowski is really good as Kinosaki in the dub. Looking forward to season 2.
For those curious, they actually kind of make THAT SCENE from the GITS manga even more explicit in some regards. Lol, don't watch that episode with someone who isn't prepared for it.
LRT Big fucking lol if the big announcement is Trump saying the Georgia Senate seats were stolen. Warnock and Ossoff, whatever flaws they have, ran great campaigns against terrible, TERRIBLE candidates. Do you remember who Warnock faced in his 2022 reelection?
The don't kill him or you'll be like him is a story moment that can be done well or poorly. Gotta be honest, this is one of those moments where I'm thinking "No actually you're wrong here man, we actually should actually just kill this guy."
HD pics of Asta's character sheet. Bottom middle one of the face sheet is interesting cause I genuinely don't think you actually see Asta look that mad in the series. Even when he's fighting the worst villains in the series.
After a so-so finale to the last arc, Beatbreak's seemingly second to final/maybe introduction to its final arc steps on the gas immediately. New villain introduction feels more out of Ghost Game than this show, which is neat.
My boss moved my day off without telling me and then said "Well I already changed it" when I pressed her on it. The honest truth is if she had simply asked I probably wouldn't have mind, but trying to sneak it like that is some grade A fucking nonsense.
Regarding that complaint about new enemies, I think two of the three(?) introduced returning/introduced here are cool and fun, but the warlock, cool as he looks, is just kinda lame. He buffs enemies and teleports around in a game that has maybe a few too many enemies like that in the latter regard.
Doom The Dark Ages Revelations I think the base game was largely fine, but Revelations is the best piece of modern Doom DLC imo. Is more focused and less gimmicky than the DLC to Eternal, while the things it experiments with are more interesting. Do wish there were a few more new enemies tho.
Character sheet for Asta in his DU form leaked. Really like how he looks.
*watching Andrew Bluett's Halo retrospective* Dang, proto Master Chief was pretty dope. Brings to mind something that is 100% robotic tho imo.
Would like to think a score that bad would cause some debate at Disney, but the only thing that matters is box-office and it's probably gonna be fine there at least.
New Ghost in the Shell is so damn fun. Sorta weird to think this is the most "canon" Major considering all the different takes on her we've had. Looks fantastic too, easily the most fun show I've seen this season.
-Have Doom DLC launching literally tomorrow -Still lay off like a 1/3 of the people at id Software -Also say you want more Doom and Wolfenstein games to come out quicker
The latest Digimon Beatbreak arc was the first one that didn't really work for me. It had some really neat ideas, even some great episodes, but the conclusion is simply paced way too fast. We learn the backstory of the main antagonist of the arc, and then immediately go right to the final battle.
Part of the reason I wish we got more historical works in animation is you get neat little stuff like this interaction... ...follow by being told that these two never meet face to face ever again after a very sweet parting.
Interesting to see the staff of Jaadugar come out and more or less say we did a lot of on foot research, but we couldn't do as much as we wanted.
Was a smidge concerned Noelle's fight in season 2 was gonna get a bit less focus than others, but the amount of focus it got in the trailer makes me a feel a bit more at ease.
Luna Abyss A truly odd game in both gameplay and story. Kinda tonally all over the place with a mix of bullet hell gameplay and the platforming from Doom Eternal. Often feels too easy, outside of two late game bosses that suddenly demand you spend a lot of time in the air. Great enemy designs tho.
Very hopeful and excited for the Shantae series to potentially get a second good entry in it.
There are other important reasons to support physical games media. Very important. ... (Other people probably beat me to this joke, but it's fine.)
It looks like Godzilla, but due to international copyright laws, it isn’t!
Watched the first episode of Kaiju Girl Caramelise. Oh yeah, that's the good stuff right there.
