Eagle Owl Juvenile. Great to watch this young bird clowning around today. Their plumage at this age is fresh and spectacular. As they age, they mould their winge feathers in varying sequence, so you never see that neat a barring pattern again. 😍😎 #birds #owls #birding #birdwatching #finland

Great thread topic. I think my first 1st Irish was Isabelline Shrike at the north slob, Wexford in 2000. I reckon I've seen maybe 16/17 1sts over the years, which include Canada & Wilson's Warblers, Green & Little Blue Heron & 1 (maybe 2) self found 1sts in that lot. #birds #birding #irishrarebirds
