"ai" is causing serious harm - and so is car dependency he/they acespec - photography, gaming, cycling, earth and most of the life on it are alright - west coast 🇨🇦 - trans rights - freeride, freedive, free 🇭🇰 🇺🇦 🇵🇸
it was only visible for like 30 seconds but this is roughly the time and place I saw a thin, dark funnel and what looked like a vertical column of vapor reaching from the ground. I thought it was just the gas plant in that direction but it dissipated so quickly
looking at reviews now it seems that the vast majority are actually hidden and impossible to browse. only the "most helpful" (probably just the most reactions) or the latest reviews in a given month are visible. anyway, here's a nice snapshot lol
funny how successfully rewriting one of my game configs to work around a game issue can make me feel simultaneously kind of smart and also really stupid. but I seem to have it all sorted! after being broken for over three years! so I'm happier now anyway :) ( Momentum Mod - full cfg on my github )
First time finishing a zoned map in Momentum Mod's achievement era (last night at 5AM - I should have been asleep) also got 4/20 achievements as of 4/20
the "download" link there ( www.nasa.gov/wp-content/u... ) includes metadata, I just downloaded and can see EXIF in my image viewer
I managed to open it in a steam client browser window so maybe it's just broken in firefox, possibly just on linux? anyway not sure if my monitor's relatively limited gamut is good or bad here (6-bit dithered to 8-BPC) but it definitely struggles with reds.
it's completely broken for me lol sometimes it works at first then the graphic freezes, putting the target line in a random place without updating what's shown
I doubt it's an active alarm, it was totally silent and didn't seem to trigger any kind of response
wtf. a few items have started doing that in the last month or so, not completely sure what's going on, market manipulation? I know there's been a few pump-and-dump schemes in the market lately. some items go nuts and then crash overnight, the best I've got now are probably these. ....1k wtf.........
So yesterday I realized that infrared light from the sun penetrates wildfire smoke more effectively than visible light, and also that my old canon 1D II has very little IR filtering, unlike my 1D IV. I was lucky to guess the focus without live view lol #photography
Carney reminds me of Dianne Feinstein. hopefully not a sign of things to come. alt text in replies because it's STILL broken for me. (1/3) Article: www.cbc.ca/news/politic... Feinstein: www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIeb...
I think that's one of the few I have not gone on lol normally I'd bike there, so I largely stuck to the freeride bike trails in the area. I did a lot of trail maintenance, too. here's a couple photos from from a stupidly long ride in May 2005. two decades next month guhhh
