I try to pair smaller prints because I'm going for a diptych sort-of affectation when I'll go to frame & mount them. IF all goes to plan, I'm refreshing my bedroom this year for the first time in almost 20 (!) using a lot of IVAR stuff from IKEA so I'll have these big cabinet doors to work on:
annnnnd last night I ordered these 4 x 5 giclée art prints via INPRNT - they're from Moonshine Vintage, who creates hand-cut collage made from vintage/secondhand magazines with these ones set onto antique newsprint.
So, a few weeks ago I got these two prints from an artist here in Australia (Ashlea Bechaz), I got little A6 versions.
it took a long time for the primaris space marines to grow on me but from day one I did love the design of the bolt carbine with the forward grip, very aggressive very i-mean-business coded
my policy as things stand is every woman in america *should* have a gun, and men like those found in the below article should be put down as if they're froth-mouthed dogs that have been clipped by cars & found at the side of the road
In four days, we could be seeing a decline every eight hours until they are coming every four minutes
Here's the old product image, which is the standard I was aiming to emulate. The new one (upstream in this thread) has more reds and as a result a little more 'pop' to it I think, but I'm a big fan of the original green hues and think it gave a spookier vibe
and I like the Sons enough that I'd sideline this absolute banger of a sculpt, even though he was the first model I ever painted on a whim and sold immediately when I listed him, cementing my confidence (rightly or wrongly) I couldn't lose money on this hobby...
I don't play or collect these! Not really. The exception is the Wight King, which holds a special place in my heart.
If you play/collect Warhammer, either Sigmar or TOW, do not sleep on the Underworlds box sets for hero & character sculpts. I'm *dangerously* close to picking up a Soulblight Gravelords - Deathrattle Tomb Host box because I saw the Underworlds Morbid Minions box with The Sons of Velmorn in it...
It's gonna Be A While until I can own property large enough to worry about doing it, but I'm practising down-sizing in my own way
*waving an empty bottle of dvd cleaner under my nose so that I may serenely receive prophetic visions amid signs & portents* in the wake of 'ballsmaxxing', it's only a matter of time for them to start appropriating sheaths & packers
on a warhammer bent,I treated myself to the old-style Drukhari Archon - the new sculpt *is* great, but this is the guy that had me almost pulling the trigger on some dark elves for about forever (or since 2013 or so lol) and I'd feel bad to let him go
instead, I've got to ascertain which of these three less-than-ideal candidates might suit - arguably good in being much cheaper but all have flaws, especially in terms of the ergonomics of wheeling in & out and (although this is not critical since it's in a fenced back yard) a less secure design...
infuriates me no-one here is making something like the UK's SAB motorcycle secure storage units, instead I'm stuck trying to find a break in the rain to go and try to plot out the footprint of some oversize generic shed in my garden to see whether I can wheel the navi into it and out again or not
this is the rock, i trust everyone to abide by the honor system
I'm am in constant peril from the Seiko Prospex Reinterpretation Alpinist 1959, this thing was developed in a laboratory to defeat me an otherwise unassailable warrior. I found one for just $1.2K (normally like $3K) and like, what do I need a new PC for? Is the PC even my friend anymore
not entirely unlike my previous exposure to the black Gorka mountain suit, seeing nearly $1000 of fetish gear and thinking "this would fix me"
cool well it has been a quarter hour of this which isn’t at all infuriating
Hi! Hello. How is everyone coping with the on-again off-again on-again impending apocalypse? I bought some red cedar shoe keepers for a pair of shoes I wear two or three times a year. I'm an 11 and these are only 7-10, but a degree of militant optimism in ALL things seems increasingly demanded of us
