It's Hewso's cooking adventures day and I am excited about this one Rubens with home made pastrami, lemon and herb grilled chicken rolls and pork belly bites for entree. Meat prep done
Hewso's cooking adventures is going simple on this cold Canberra Friday night. Camp oven Meatballs and Chorizo. Yes I cheated and bought meatballs...but this is a camping recipe and no one is making their own meatballs while camping
In my lovely home (well, next door anyway), we now have what is referred to as the Barnaby crawl, which is 9 different bars through Braddon, which ends at the copper plaque commemorating that famous pic.

It's not all Meat in Hewso's cooking adventures. Last minute hot cross bun pudding (as opposed to bread and butter pudding) for a morning tea at Amy's work. (Sorry folks lots of cooking incoming today)
It's time for Hewso's cooking adventures. Going with a classic Roast beef and gravy rolls. The veggie base is covered in stout then I roast the beef on it in the Kamado. Then, when beef is resting, I add some flour to the beer/veggies blitz the fuck out of it and cook it down for the gravy.
