Random Deltarune brainstorm that I'm not sure where else to post. This involves Ch. 1-4, as I still haven't finished 5. So if anything is addressed in Ch. 5, feel free to tell me they are, without going into spoilery detail. For spoilers sake, this will be a Graphic-tagged image with ALT text.

Why did Lancer and Rouxls Kaard petrify in Cyber World, but are perfectly able to interact with everyone in TV World?
Ralsei tells us in Ch. 2 that Darkners from one Dark World may not be compatible with another.

Now, we learn in Ch. 4 that Dark Worlds made by *different people* differ from one another.
Is that what causes the compatibility issue?

We see Kris make the TV World fountain, which is the first time we see them make a fountain at all. Did Kris also make Card Kingdom? Or Castle Town itself, even?

This would imply that Kris did not make the Cyber World fountain. Then, who did?

Another option I considered was the presence of the soul. Kris removes their soul before creating the fountain.
Is whoever created the Fountain(s) at school also a being with no soul, and does that affect how the Dark World is shaped?
Like, do beings with different souls create different Dark Worlds, and soulless beings just create kind of a "default" all-compatible one?

Finally, how did Lancer and Rouxls even make it to TV World?
Did Kris run back to school to pick them up while going out to (presumably) slash Toriel's tires? (And if so, why them, specifically?)

Also, what causes the difference in what creates a "Darkner" or an "Item" in the Dark World?
A playing card, a laptop, a stuffed toy, a TV set... they become Darkners.
A breath mint, a sticker, a shard of glass, a pencil... becomes an item or weapon.
An egg... remains an egg in either world?

Back in the day, I crammed some foam filler in an old Altoids tin (and then decorated it with stickers and awful doodles) to keep my DS games in.

An Altoids tin containing Nintendo DS games. The visible ones on the top are Magical Starsign and Mega Man ZX. There is a sticker on the inside of the lid, depicting a hand drawn doodle of the Sonic characters Vector and Espio.

Best Before Date: September 2006. This tin is at least 20 years old.

Mm, I see. It's just this part of the magazine page in particular that made me wonder.

This week on #RandomGameSaturday, I'm diving into a world of adventure, fantasy and horror as I bring out one of my first games for the Mega Drive; The Pagemaster! My mom bought this, along with Virtua Racing, when she bought the Mega Drive (with Sonic 2 packed in as well). It's... okay, I guess?

Both were rentals back in the day! I often picked up ex-rental games from video stores when they got rid of old stock. You can see my failed attempt to remove the barcode sticker on the European one. The "AL" sticker on the JP one is from an old Dutch ratings system (Alle Leeftijden; All Ages).

Another pull from the SNES crate this week for #RandomGameSaturday reveals: Super Gussun Oyoyo! The only Japanese SNES cartridge I own, it's like a mix between Tetris and Lemmings, where you guide a little guy to the exit by dropping blocks (and/or bombs) to create/clear a path.
