The Man song and mv themselves are a parallax. While listening, you hear Taylor singing as her feminine self. When watching, we see the man act out the visuals and only find out at the end it was tay. I also think it’s important The Rock voiced this role and ik others have talked about this!
Building upon the idea that Taylor created “the man” drag persona as a way to show the cis/het norms and double standards that exist in our society/the industry; much like TS™️, The Man (TM) is also carefully constructed. He is attractive, acceptable to society, and at the top of his game 🎾
