The Fifth Season RPG! Based on N. K. Jemisin’s massively successful Broken Earth trilogy! You should get a copy at #GenCon2026 booth 101! It’s amazing! Lots of awesome writers, artists, developers, and other folks worked on it! One of them has green hair 😉🫶🏼💚
Why am I posting feet pics today? Because my feet are rad as fuck today. And probably every other day of GenCon. \o/

Me: Ugh. I don’t have much game design content to share right now. NDAs, and all that Also me: But I do pretend to do violence… No blood, but plenty of sword fighting
I’m spending Saturday sitting on the stoop in my nightie, putting a new haft on my spear #justgirlythings
Like most Shima Kutuba (Ryukyuan languages), Yaimamunii has more morae (syllables*) than Standard Japanese. How many more depends on the dialect, but it's around 100 morae to Standard Japanese's 78. This means it's a little more orderly of a system. * Morae are syllables + a few other things
Usually when I talk about my Indigenous heritage languages, I'm talking about Uchinaaguchi (Okinawan). Today, I wanna shine a light on Yaimamunii (Yaeyaman), the language of Yaima (Yaeyaman Islands). Note: While Dunan(Yonaguni) is part of Yaima, they have their own related, but different language.
Like, if my audience members roll well, I’m taking out everyone! ⚔️ CW: Stage combat with prop weapons
Sometimes I make RPGs. Sometimes I role play in actual plays. And sometimes I physically inhabit my characters and fight people in front of a live audience
“What’s an actor-combatant, Hiromi?” I’m like an OK stuntwoman who can act or an OK actor who can fight, depending on which way you want to approach the concept. The point is, I can play an RPG character on stream, stage, or in the recording booth.
I’m super bad at self-promotion, but hi! I’m Hiromi. I’m a super prolific game designer and a moderately active actor-combatant. I’ve been in both industries for about 10 years and have worked on 145 books & games, 119 of which are published, and 100 productions I’m also Scion’s line developer.
