Oof… You seem like a sincere person with genuinely good intentions, which is rare in politics, but this ain’t it. We do not, under any circumstances, have anything to gain from getting cozy with a group of conspiracy theorists who are advocating for eugenics.
Pokémon Winds/Waves is looking really cool. The sense of scale and exploration looks really exciting. I think the starters are all pretty cool looking, and not too over-designed. The first thing I noticed is though, is that Browt looks like Bert’s nephew Brad.
Little wench, I'm unmentionably fresh, I'm a mensch Get correct, I will walk into a court while erect Screaming, "Yes, I am guilty, motherfuckers, I am death”
When I was 12, I caught Iria: Zeiram the Animation on the Sci-Fi Channel’s Saturday anime block. To this day, I still don’t think I’ve seen a piece of media that inspired me creatively on this level since.
40 years ago today, Calvin and Hobbes made its debut in newspapers. It has shaped my life, my sense of humor, my artistic sensibilities, my tastes, my beliefs (especially in regards to artistic integrity), what I look for in a friend, and who I am as a person more so than any other work of fiction.
I’m freeing us all from this curse, but I’m still gonna post a random picture. 🖼️ Let’s all have a wonderful August.
I feel like this one here is a candidate. When I think of Superman, I think of a character who believes in the innate potential of all human beings to do good things, sometimes to a fault. In spite of being an alien with godlike powers, he is perhaps humanity’s most enthusiastic cheerleader.
Alright, let’s do this. For the sake of variety, these won’t necessarily be my all time favorite tracks, but they will be interesting ones I want to highlight. I’m playing on Hard Mode (no repeat games)!
I often think about how common it used to be for there to be a ton of promotional art for games that wasn't in the game, couldn't have been been rendered on the hardware at the time, and wasn't on the game's cover. It just existed in magazine articles, players guides, and instruction manuals.
Today marks the 30th anniversary of the release of #EarthBound in North America. My favorite video game of all time since childhood, to say that it has “shaped me” does not even begin to describe the impact that EarthBound has had on me.
Calvin's Dad would be going scorched earth over things like targeted advertising, subscription models for everything, private equity buying and ruining everything, and the enshittification of the internet.
