You know what you're getting into and you tell yourself that the opinion of a faceless profile has poor value, but it is always sad to see such a reductive response to meaningful contribution. The majority of the public are like putty for the current politico.

I’ve done one better and switched to using a refurbished iPod and buying off Bandcamp - it’s slower and more deliberate so not for everyone, but I have a sense of ownership and a not-online device! Not to mention artists getting paid much more.
