Valentine’s Day was the day after l Super Bowl 2022 and this is what my boo (at the time) and I did. We cooked Super Bowl dinner, he called off work the next day and we spent the night and next day together. He didn’t deserve any of it but you win some, you lose some.

I love when I forget to make my order early enough and am forced to choose a 3pm delivery time and when they call me to confirm, dispatch hits me with the “if you’re home now, we can have it to you in 30 mins”.

This is what it looks like prepped for the week

This pandemic bulk was my best ever tbh even though I was miserable. I didn’t have a garage gym like I do now, but I had some equipment at home so the weight came on nice even without gym access. My thighs and ass were so shapely and basically I need to eat more so I can get back here.

One of my favorite dishes to cook is a poke bowl. When meal planning, everything is weighed & portioned. When I’m eating intuitively, I load up the biggest plate I can find. 🤣 Spinach, red cabbage, carrots, grilled pineapple, cucumbers, green onions, eggs, teriyaki salmon, cilantro, sriracha mayo.

I love being close in age with at least some of my nieces and nephew and being not like a regular aunt, but a cool aunt.

How does this random C even makes sense? I know she’s mad that I called out her instructions cause everybody in class confused and wouldn’t speak up! But one missed project does not deserve a C+ final grade. If I weren’t graduating on Friday, I would’ve taken this to the director & raised hell.

Roasted sweet potatoes this morning and made two sweet potato pies. I did not make my own pie crust this time - I just didn’t care to. Seeing a pack of pie crusts at Aldi earlier this week is the only reason I’m even making pie. The prettier one is to gift and the avant- grade one is for me. 😋

Update on Project Late Start? Seedlings are looking good on day 22. True leaves are starting to come in for the watermelons & tomatoes. Considering the weather we’ve been having, the typical frost date AND the fact that the seedlings need to grow more, I probably won’t transplant until Memorial Day.

I DID IT!!! 6 months no smoking or drinking. Man, that really sucked during the holidays & WBC season. Otherwise, I can’t wait to do it again. Maybe 2-3 sober months a few times a year instead of 6 straight months. 😅 Anyway, celebrating end of the semester and graduation next week with a fat joint!

I’m not a big cinnamon roll person but I gotta say the first run was really good! I’m making more today. Will double up on filling and icing this time around. 🙂‍↕️ I’ll make jumbo rolls directly in the containers.

My third sourdough loaf and my best to date. Loaded with herbs and roasted garlic. No one can tell me shit!!!!

I missed out on the Paramore AWKIF and Mutemath RSD releases but I have both in CD for so that’s okay. Missed out on Chaka too but I have good luckwhen it comes to Chaka and I dont need the RSD version 🤷🏾‍♀️ I got my jazz records which was the priority. Got the Chet Baker in Fukui records too.

Found out that my 44 year old team member died in a motorcycle accident. He was a sweet guy and had a 3 year old. It’s weird to work remotely with someone for 4 years and then just have them be gone that way. My head’s been in the clouds since. Making it a point to walk outside a little more.

I started my seeds late (i.e.,today) but I have faith I’ll get a good yield. Last summer, my peppers + tomatoes were SO stressed from the heat I didn’t get proper fruit until August/September! I’m doing less varieties this year as well - committed to not buying new seeds this year and the next two.

Then they ruined my freaking show and did my girl Nicole so dirty. Sleepy Hollow could’ve been a 13 season show if they didn’t hate black women.
