I heard a TV news anchor say "manosphere" last night during a story on the Tates. It made me realize how weird a term it is. Like a plot device in a bad 1950's scifi. "Behold! The instrument of your doom! The Manosphere!" [villain in silly costume holds out a large decorative bullicante glass orb]
