Our gone-but-still-beloved cat Mr. Burns had to have astronaut cosplay at the vet because while he was the chillest cat on earth at home, he became a violent, biting demon when we took him in.
Made myself a li’l Cuddle Kabe! She's big and huggable and - surprise! — she's also a purse! (Crossbody or backpack) And she can even put a little spending money in her teeny tiny pockets.

OF COURSE I had to make my own Flat Meat Fry! For the bread, I recreated the bubble grilled cheese from the Halcyon, and the sauce is hollandaise whisked with queso. The spam & onions were griddled. I cut open the second one I made so you can see the cross section view. This. Biz. Is. Delicious.

Looking through the Mando & Grogu coloring book, and I think my favorite part is where they go to the Overlook Hotel.
ALSO I went to a bucket list speakeasy in Rome where I had a Blue Blazer for the first time — a drink that dates back to 1862 when Jerry Thomas included it in his cocktail book. It’s not one that a lot of bartenders can make, due to the obvious DANGER. Caramelized flavor, incredible.
I went on a trip to Italy with my BFF @graydawn.bsky.social to see a bunch of the art on our bucket lists and it was one of the best weeks of my life. The Vatican, Palazzo Barberini, the Bargello, Uffizi, Vasari corridor, Santa Croce and more. Moving and inspiring and exhausting and delicious.
Every time the character of Two Boots shows up on Maul, I think of this episode of Bob’s Burgers. Because I am a child.
A lot of things suck and we are living in a dystopian future BUT I also have flowers growing very happily in my office. Came home from a few days away to find that the sunflowers had really popped off. 🌻🌼🌸
