I love good beer and NBA basketball (a long-suffering Chicago Bulls fan). I live in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK
Explored the pubs of Stoke Newington yesterday evening. The Axe, The Jolly Butchers, The Coach & Horses, all great pubs but The C&H was head and shoulders above the rest down to two amazing guys behind the bar who took the time to talk to a solo drinker and even entertain me with card tricks!
More Burnt Mills... Costal Highway is magnificent (as you'd expect from an IPA with Jeff Bagby involved
Lots of Burnt Mill beers to get through this week... Starting off with a delicious Helles
In Simpatico from @blackjackbeers.bsky.social is a great Italian pils. Up there with Cuttin' Grass by @durationbeer.bsky.social and Luppoleto by @burningskybeer.bsky.social, as great British examples of the style
Commencing an evening of @blackjackbeers.bsky.social beers. Opening up with a lovely little lager hopped with British grown Opus
Another great lager to end the night. Accompanied by an episode of the brilliant "The Rehearsal"
Getting myself from A to B quickly tonight 😂 @burningskybeer.bsky.social @kernelbrewery.bsky.social @elusivebrewing.com
Just got in from playing taxi driver so staying strong with this NEIPA from @amitybrewco.bsky.social and Bini Brew Co
As you'd expect from a Black IPA from @elusivebrewing.com , Midnight Oregon Trail is hitting all the marks
On the @elusivebrewing.com Oregon Trilogy beers. DDH was a miss for me but this is absolutely brilliant
Free delivery at Deya means I've got 6 litres of this beautiful pilsner to get me through the weekend
The 4.5-5% pale seems to be the sweet spot for @elusivebrewing.com in my opinion. Ephemeris in particular is one of the best beers I've had in a while
