A school in San Diego solely dedicated (K-12) to homeless children. What a fabulous idea. I heard of it yesterday after my daughter had a talk with staff about CA abuse reporting. She was very impressed.

And it begins. Goodbye dear elm, we'll miss you dearly.

We lose our magnificent elm tomorrow. For over 25 years we defeated Dutch elm disease. But a rot at the base likely means damaged roots. Our home and that of our neighbor is at risk. It will be felled tomorrow.
