It really baffles me that there are people out there who fail to see that Helldivers is satire and that super earth aren't the good guys. youtube.com/shorts/3a1fE...
Infomercial energy.
If I can have three narrators I'm going with the MST3K cast (Mike era).
Full video of the incident where my fingers were consumed by ravenous monsters.
I love these creatures so much. ;-; A neighbour has put out a bowl of water and a bowl of peas for them.
I got home and she waddled towards me at full sprint, asking for peanuts. I'm really amazed at how comfortable she is with me getting so close to both her and her babies.
One of my crow friends was eating peanuts next to me on the bench I sat on, then she hopped down and made a peculiar sound. She walked over to her husband and I started filming, in case she made the sound again. But instead I caught her doing a happy little buttwiggle.
I love all of Kurosawa's work, but Seven Samurai stands out to me. One of my favourite movies of all time. While the action scenes are fantastic, it's a contemplative slow burner of a film. Kurosawa's Yojimbo and Sanjuro share a second place for me.
Devouring this tonight. Send thoughts and prayers to my neighbours.
I've tried the white Gilgamesh and unironically liked it enough to make it again (it's best with a stout in my opinion). I'd give beer with iced tea a go. It doesn't sound nearly as weird. :P
This fine lady joined us for breakfast and did a little poo while I was hanging out with her husband.
The more fearless of the two crows spends most of her time sitting in the nest, incubating eggs if my suspicions are correct. For the most part it's just her shy husband who joins me for breakfast these days. But occasionally she will come down for a brief moment to join us.
My two crow friends appear to be nesting! They've been gathering sticks lately and only one of them showed up at our usual breakfast spot the past few days, so I had my suspicions. I hope I get to meet their babies when they hatch and leave the nest.
10/10 avatar, can recommend. Just gotta figure out how to add a noseplate and do some texture tweaks to make it look even more like my sona. @artycorvale.bsky.social already did all the work with setting up the avatar for me as a gift, and will be nominated for the spouse of the year award.
Out of my two crow friends, one is more shy and the other is practically fearless of me. The second one always goes for the nuts that I place closest to me for some reason. Not being scared is one thing. But I'm kinda curious about that behaviour.
I survived the pie panel run by @mainmandarin.bsky.social yesterday.
